GUE Fundamental Skills Series [English]

Language: English
This course covers a number of GUE skills at the Fundamentals level, but of course basic skills review is useful at any level of diving, for divers of any scuba agency, or as pre-study materials before taking any GUE class. Videos in this series include:  Valve Drill - Single Tank, Valve Drill - Double Tanks, SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) Deployment, and Backup Light Deployment. To master the skills demonstrated in this video series, a diver must first develop solid situational awareness and robust fundamental diving skills such as buoyancy control, trim, and maneuvering techniques.

This can only be achieved through proper instruction and practice during an actual class. The GUE Fundamentals course is designed to cultivate the essential skills required by all sound diving practice. Included among its course outcomes are: providing the recreational diver, who does not desire further diver training, with an opportunity to advance his/her basic diving skills; training divers in the theory and practice of nitrox; providing divers who aspire to more advanced diver training with the tools for success; and providing non-GUE trained divers with a gateway into GUE training.
